AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) Scheme
As per AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme Upto a maximum of 15 students in the first year of PGDM Programme and 6 in the PGDM-HRM Programme over and above the approved intake are given scholarships of 100% tuition fee waiver on the basis of their merit in the admissions rank.
These students are selected out of the candidates who applied to us and whose family income is upto Rs. 8.00 Lacs per annum. The students are required to produce any of the following certificates issued during the year of application at the time of applying to the programme to be considered for the TFW Scheme:
1. Family income certificate issued by any Govt. revenue authority
2. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Certificate
3. Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued by a Govt. body
Those who apply are considered on the basis of their admissions rank subject to maximum number of candidate, over and above the approved intake, as per the guidelines of AICTE.
Merit cum Means Scholarship
MDI provides a total number of 10 merit cum means scholarships (50% waiver of tuition fees) every year to the students pursuing two-year full time PGDM/PGDM- HRM/PGDM-IB at MDI Gurgaon.
– Eligibility
The annual income of the parents of the applicant should not exceed Rs.8.0 lakhs.*
* The income slab is linked with the applicable Govt. policy for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) wherein the benefits are extended to persons with family income below Rs.8.0 lakhs per annum
– Amount of Scholarship
a) An amount equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee of two years will be given in the entire duration of PGDM and the scholarship is linked with his/her performance in term examinations upto term-II and thereafter Term-III, IV and V.
The following amount of scholarship will be provided to 2021-23 students:
Tuition Fee for PGDM/ PGDM-HRM: INR 16 Lakhs; Scholarship provided (50%): 8 Lakhs
Tuition Fee for PGDM-IB: INR 22 Lakhs; Scholarship provided (50%): 11 Lakhs
b) The Scholarship scheme is limited to 10 students as mentioned below:
PGDM: 4 students
PGDM-HRM: 2
PGDM-IB: 2
PGDM/ PGDM-HRM/ PGDM-IB: 2 (Female Candidates)
– Selection Procedure
a) Since the students are settling down in the Term-I, the CGPA of Term I & Term II should be above 6.0, which will be considered for the scholarship for the eligible candidates.
b) Parents income of the eligible candidates should not be more than Rs.8.0 lakhs* per annum based on bona fide documents submitted by the candidates to the GP office.
* As applicable as per Govt. policy for EWS (Economically Weaker Section).
c) In case of a tie, the absolute score of the courses (Term-I & Term-II) of the particular students will be taken into the consideration.
d) To continue getting the scholarship, the awardee is required to maintain at least 6.0 CGPA in each term.
