Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is a department under Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies (MRIIRS, formerly MRIU- a NAAC-accredited ‘A’ grade institution), which is a deemed-to-be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act (1956). Established in 2009, it is affiliated to NHRDN, FICCI, AIMA, ASSOCHAM, FSIA and MSME. FMS is ranked among the top Management institutes in India by various organisations and ranking bodies such as NIRF-MHRD, NHRDN, TOI, Business India, Business Today and India Today.
FMS MRIIRS offers UG, PG and doctoral-level programmes in the field of Management and Hotel Management and strives to provide quality education to students through the right proportion of industry and academic exposure. This department via MRIIRS offers a number of facilities to its students, some of which are – multimedia-enabled and air-conditioned classrooms, a state-of-the-art library, a fully wi-fi networked campus, a large fleet of buses for transportation within NCR, a well-equipped gymnasium, an open-air theatre, a medical centre, a cafeteria along with food courts, an ATM, a campus shop, a book shop along with world-class sports facilities (lawns, courts and grounds for all outdoor games along with a billiards table, squash facilities, athletic tracks and a shooting range).
In addition to offering a holistic environment, students are encouraged to take up courses through online learning platforms such as the UGC’s SWAYAM for MOOCs. Students may complete these courses and earn credits as a part of the programme. Also, various experiential learning activities, live projects, case studies and guest lectures are organised for the students.
